What you’ll do as a Technician Fiber Installation + Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines + Install, setup and configure all equipment + Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues + Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement + Educate the customer regarding product and service usage + Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment + Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed + Perform work in all weather conditions + Other duties as assigned What you’ll need + To be 18 years of age or older + Authorization to work in the United States for this company + High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience + Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Physical abilities & exposures + Routinely: work at heights, in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, work with arms above shoulder level, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift greater than 55 pounds + Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse Salary Range $ 20.- $26. an hour Why work with us Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
