**Technician Helper** **Job Description** This person will support technicians by going on the road with them to help set up and stage heating equipment on construction sites. The employee will stage and set up the ducts and gas lines that connect the heating equipment before the technicians do the connections. For example, building manifolds. They will be required to support service technicians in the delivery of equipment. **Responsibilities** + Support technicians by setting up and staging heating equipment on construction sites. + Stage and set up ducts and gas lines for heating equipment. + Assist in building manifolds. + Support service technicians in the delivery of equipment. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude + Experience with hand tools + Knowledge in HVAC, HVAC electrical, and CFC + Experience in maintenance and construction + Ability to lift 50 lbs + Basic math skills + Mechanically inclined + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CFC license preferred + Experience in HVAC and maintaining equipment + Experience working on cars or changing oil + At least 2 years of HVAC experience or equivalent school experience + Experience in a service-related role interacting with customers + Willingness to work after hours and weekends during peak times **Why Work Here?** Great company with growth opportunities. Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 4 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
