Technician II, Distribution Warehouse

**Description**
The Warehouse Technician II is responsible for inventory control management of finished goods and equipment, supporting cycle counting, documentation, and discrepancy research. The position also includes pick and pack activities to support preparation of international and domestic shipments, as well as receiving, inspecting, screening, preparation and storage of inventory.As an employee of Boehringer Ingelheim, you will actively contribute to the discovery, development and delivery of our products to our patients and customers. **Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Process all shipments, including identification and separation of multiple material categories.
+ Responsible for communicating discrepancies to appropriate management -- Shortages and Overages.
+ Keep detailed records on all orders, transfers and other paperwork.
+ Accurate picking, verification and packing of all orders shipped to international or domestic customers.
+ Process all shipments, including identification and separation of multiple material categories.
+ Inspection of received materials -- staged for shipment, screening and filing of required documentation, as well as the storage, release and delivery of such materials, in compliance with USDA, GMP, and BI standards.
+ Properly store all materials and packaging supplies for the Warehouse.
+ Properly document and maintain, in good order, all vaccine and vaccine related materials stored in or passing through the Distribution Warehouse.
+ Properly receive all released product from Receiving and Packaging warehouses to the Distribution Warehouse.
+ Properly label all vaccine shipments with the appropriate documentation.
+ Maintains cleanliness and organization of the Distribution Warehouse and the materials stored there.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Avian Biosecurity Policy: It is the responsibility of all Boehringer Ingelheim employees to take necessary steps to avoid contact with the avian species in general. This includes, but is not limited to, commercial poultry, yard chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, wild birds and pet birds.
+ Should contact occur, precautions must be taken prior to entering a critical building or location: Anyone coming into contact with the avian species should not enter into a critical building or location for 24 hours unless they have showered, changed clothes and shoes.
**May not own or have contact with other birds or poultry.**
**Requirements**
+ High school education or equivalent required
+ Two (2) years of warehouse and inventory control (computerized) experience
+ Good written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong computer skills
+ Required to maintain a forklift/pallet jack operator's license
+ Able to lift up to 75-pound items and carry it a distance of 10 feet, as well as push / pull
+ Must be able to squat, bend, and stoop, as well as twisting and turning
+ Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required
+ Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
+ Required to be safety conscious in performing daily tasks
+ Must be able to manage diverse responsibilities independent of supervision
+ Ability to stay focused and efficient under shifting priorities
+ Attendance is a must; some weekend work required
**Eligibility Requirements**
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
+ Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
