What you will do:
 

Adhere to all Quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes. Perform routine QC testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. Report quality and process abnormalities to manager and lead investigations as needed. Perform all quality control and quality assurance tests and procedures in a precise, accurate and efficient manner, and follow safety standards and protocols with regards to safe handling of materials. Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including hands-on instrument troubleshooting & repair. Maintain QC logbooks, compile and interpret data. Develop and author SOPs. Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs). Maintain exemplary laboratory hygiene in terms of safety, health, and environment (SHE) compliance. Act as a leader and example for the company’s Behavioral Standards, which focus on Safety, Integrity, Inclusion, Performance, Community, and Innovation. Perform other duties as required.
 

What you will bring:
 

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in chemistry or a related major; or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Soil Science, Agronomy, Chemical Engineering or related field is preferred. 2+ years of experience in a laboratory; equivalent degree may be considered in lieu of lab experience. Knowledge of Chemistry and Mathematics. Extensive experience with MS Office. Experience with SAP Quality Management Modules, Laboratory Information Management (LIM) software is preferred.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Range $19.38 - $36.67/hr. This range is estimated for a Technician II, Quality Lab in the State of California. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
