Technician II

Summary: Seeking a Technician II with expertise in 3D scanning, CAD software, and automotive interior testing for R&D projects.

Requirements:

Associate's degree or higher in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or related field

Experience with 3D scanning technology and software (e.g., Romer/Polyworks, FARO, Artec, Geomagic)

Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5/V6

Experience in interior performance testing and capacity measurement

Valid driver's license

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of automotive design and manufacturing processes

Responsibilities:

Conduct 3D scans of automotive interiors and exteriors

Process scan data to create digital models

Design and build test fixtures

Perform interior performance testing and measurements

Collaborate with engineers to integrate data into R&D projects

Maintain and calibrate scanning equipment

Document procedures, test results, ensuring data accuracy

Assist in developing scanning techniques and testing methods

Perform light hand-work tasks to support R&D activities

Troubleshoot technical issues with scanning equipment/software

Ensure compliance with safety/quality standards in lab environment



Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
