Provide technical support for users in the following areas: desktop, networking, telephone/PBX, installation and setup of new desktop hardware, install and maintain networked printers, helpdesk assistance, application troubleshooting and support AS/400 applications.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assists the IT Manager to oversee and maintain the computer systems on site.Install software and document licensing of users.Install and network multi-user applications on LAN.Assist in testing hardware, software and network technologies.Able to terminate/patch panels/desktop connections and meter all cat5e/6 termination as needed.Add/Change/Move Telephones (Avaya DS G3) within the organization.Add/Change/Move Voicemail and Security Settings on Avaya Audix Voicemail/Call Accounting System.Maintain users and groups within 2003 Active Directory Network.Maintain users email on Exchange 2003 Enterprise.Maintain Users security profiles on AS/400/5250.Maintain User Security and Support Time and Attendance System (Timeworks).Maintain Users in the ACSC Slot Accounting System.Support Operations and Accounting/Audit in Slot Accounting System (ACSC).Maintain Users Accounts on Infinium Accounting System (gl/hr).Maintain and Support Infogenesis Point of Sale System.Maintain User Accounts and Support on Multimedia Lottery System.Maintain all work requests in MIS Helpdesk Tracking System (Track-it).Ability to maintain strict compliance to MICS.Maintain and support In-house developed applications.Maintain and support AS/400 Printers.Maintain Network Security and stability.Ability to train users in rudimentary use of all above Applications/Systems.Ability to perform routine and schedule preventative maintenance on all systems hardware, including printers.Interface with company departments as required, assisting users.Performs other job related duties as assigned. QualificationsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of classified/sensitive information. Knowledge of operating systems and information processing. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with staff and guests.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required. Requires Associates Degree in computer science and a combination of the following certifications, A+ certification, MCP in combination with IT experience. One to two years’ experience in information technology. Microsoft Certification (MCP) is preferred but can be substituted by 2 years IT experience. Casino related experience strongly preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and manuals written in English. Must be able to write grammatically correct reports and correspondence. Must have the ability to communicate interpersonally and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, team members, guests and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Calculate figures and amounts such as ratios and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY:
Must have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Troubleshooting ability consists of defining problems, collecting data, testing potential solutions, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work involves frequent sitting, standing, walking and crouching or kneeling, reaching with arms and using the hands to manipulate, feel and enter data by frequent and sustained use of keyboard and mouse. Site work involves limited manual labor, typically involving the setup of desktop PCs, running data cables, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Requires the ability to speak and hear. Vision abilities required by this job typically include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position involves functioning both in an office environment and various locations throughout the premises. The office environment has low to moderate noise levels and is a non-smoking environment. The Casino environment has moderate to loud noise, dim to moderate lighting, is often crowded and is a smoking environment.
WORKING HOURS:
Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require Team Members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek is 40 hours and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
