Integration Engineering Technician

Responsibilities:
Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage Booster according to written procedures and engineering specifications.Set up new production work areas, including tooling and equipment, and support the transition from development to production, including first articles.Perform hardware inspections, second-party verifications, and troubleshooting to resolve malfunctions through modification, repair, or maintenance.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, and other ground support equipment.Use precision tools like torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, and height gauges for measurements and setup.Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, efficiency, and area cleanliness (5S, FOD, ESD compliance).Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contributing to a culture of inclusion and trust.Perform off-shift work, extended overtime, and weekend duties as required.Maintain a safe and clean workspace and perform other duties beneficial to achieving company goals.Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or a related field.Skills:Expertise in at least one of the following: fluids and tubing installation, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, or general aerospace/launch vehicle assembly.Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written work instructions.Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office).Physically capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, performing repetitive tasks, and lifting items up to 35 lbs.Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or asylee.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications or training in a related field (e.g., trade school, industry certifications).Hands-on leadership experience in technical or manufacturing environments.Experience handling large aerospace components and assembling large, tight-tolerance structures.Background in new product introduction and Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practices (certification preferred).Military experience is a plus.Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.Shift Schedule: Friday - Sunday (5:00pm - 5:00am)
