Technician IV, Maintenance Planner

**Description**
Responsible for planning and coordination of maintenance activities including both corrective and preventatives maintenance. Among other tasks, the position set work Schedule, generate “work permits”, identify and procure materials and parts. Interacts with “mechanical store”, suppliers and procurement officer. **Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Prepare the weekly and daily Schedule of activities. Use SAP- PM module for all related Maintenance transactions including scheduling, work order generation and closure. Evaluate priorities, assign and print work orders to technicians.
+ Monitor Maintenance metrics.
+ Schedule Adherence
+ Resource Utilization
+ Post metrics in visual board and discuss with group
+ Coordinate with external contractor related maintenance services. Assure contractors adhere to Safety requirements.
+ Generate Work Permits
+ Assist supervisor and procurement in the evaluation and selection of external maintenance service providers.
+ Monitor backlog. Discuss with supervisor actions to reduce and manage backlog.
+ Generate purchase requisition in SAP or Arriba for service and parts required to execute work orders.
+ Expedite delivery of parts and material.
+ Monitor spare part availability and make recommendations to adjust inventory level. Generate inventory change request and Plant Maintenance program changes (BAPM)
+ Conducts documentation review for the Work order closure.
+ Receive and dispatch material to facilitate job execution.
+ Complete as required cGMP
+ Safety, environmental and SOP training.
+ Participate in Tiers.
+ Perform any other task as required by the position and supervisor.
+ Follow the assigned work schedule.
+ Perform role for key user for Plant Maintenance (PM) in SAP and BigCal.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor or Associate degree in industrial mechanics, instrumentation, electronic, electricity or refrigeration.
+ 5 yrs experience in maintenance. Manufacturing industry preferred.
+ Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
+ Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. Preferably, experience with SAP.
+ Good documentation skills.
+ Able to read and understand parts and equipment specifications.
+ Available to work rotating shifts.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Self-starter and able to handle multiple priorities.
+ Need basic mathematical skills ( multiply ' divide).
+ Need to make unit conversion.
+ Knowledge of cGMPs regulations ' overall industrial maintenance ' equipment operations.
+ Need to take rapid decision following problem solving analysis ( evaluate pros ' cons).
+ Understand and follow Maintenance Task list (instructions).
+ Valid drivers license.
**Eligibility Requirements**
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
+ Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
