Kinder Morgan CO2 Company is currently seeking an Injection Ops Technician for the SACROC/LDMU EOR Fields in Snyder, TX. The successful candidate will serve a vital role in maintaining the safe and efficient operations of the Injection distribution system facilities and its wells.
Job Description:
- Provide the Production Supervisor with support for all sections of the organization.
- Create, track and report daily costs.
- Create, track, and report daily Injection operational issues.
- Create, track, and develop a report on Surface and Production casing issues on all wells.
- Lead monthly Regulatory meetings related to Surface and Production casing pressure.
- Work with and assist Engineers with any questions or concerns related to Injection.
- Prepare KPI’S for Supervisor and chart Water/C02 flood Injection throughput.
- Prepare a weekly field performance report for the Supervisor.
- Oversee daily operations with Injection field operators as well as with contractors.
- Lead prior to work Safety Meetings daily.
- Assist Operators in Troubleshooting Injection Facilities and Injection wells.
- Oversee new construction projects from inception through startup with Project groups.
- Provide hands-on support to resolve maintenance-related problems as they occur.
- Provide hands-on support to resolve operations-related problems as they occur.
- Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- Monitor SCADA daily and address any operational issues or concerns related to Injection distribution immediately.
- Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills, and listen carefully.
- Write effectively, and understand verbal and written communications, including but not limited to email.
- Help develop written operational procedures.
- Enter Workorders into the appropriate data base “Maximo.”
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance, and high level of performance.
- Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees, and the public.
- Call-out and unscheduled overtime are required and anticipated.

- Previous or current experience with LOTO, MOC, PHA and PSSR’s documentation and process.
- Previous or current experience with PLCs, HMI’s and associated languages.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft.
