Job Summary
The Reliability and Improvement Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of equipment and systems by implementing reliability-focused maintenance strategies. This role involves analyzing equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement, and executing corrective and preventive measures to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Reliability Maintenance
Perform reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) to optimize equipment performance.
Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations to identify recurring issues.
Implement corrective actions to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and propose process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Assist in the development and execution of maintenance improvement projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean maintenance practices.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime.
Utilize predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
Monitor equipment health and recommend timely interventions.
Spare Parts & Inventory Management
Ensure critical spare parts are available to support reliability initiatives.
Assist in evaluating the condition of spare parts and recommending replacements.
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations.
Participate in safety audits and recommend reliability improvements to enhance workplace safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 1 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or a similar role.
Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques and reliability analysis tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with data analysis for equipment reliability.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
