MAJOR FUNCTION: Performs under the direction of a qualified physician , RSO and lead technologist high quality
technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in conjunction with Nuclear Medicine
camera and computer systems to diagnose a variety of disease states in humans.
QUALIFICATION:
A. Education: Certified in Nuclear Medicine by the ARRT or CNMT or may be board eligible. NJDEP required ( Nuclear Medicine license ). Must be CPR certified
B. Experience: Experience preferred but new graduates are acceptable
C. Certification/Licensure: See under Education
D. Physical Requirements: Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing and walking. Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients. Lifts supplies and equipment. Subject to potential electrical and radiation hazards
