What you'll be doing

Coordinate with Engineering and perform equipment modifications as needed.

Understand the use of predictive maintenance tools - Develop opportunities to use predictive tools.

Preventive Maintenance generation and or refinement of existing PMs.

Analyze machine failures for root cause and implement corrective actions.

Assist in annual equipment inspections.

Monitor parts spending and reliability trends.

Utilize a laptop to communicate with PLCs, VFD’s, Panelview’s and Servos to diagnose issues.

Use a drawing package, multi-meter and other diagnostic equipment to resolve electrical issues.

Diagnose mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment, and setup issues.

Develop standard work for troubleshooting and setups/changeovers.

Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for maintenance related SOPs.

Ability to drive and guide repair of equipment with the team members.

Procure estimates for various tasks and projects and order parts as necessary.

New Equipment installs – works with engineers, vendors, and equipment suppliers.

This position involves working around moving equipment.



What you'll bring

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Associates Degree in a technical related field (i.e. Industrial Maintenance) is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of mechanical systems repair, industrial maintenance or equivalent is required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

The position requires the ability to individually lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to bend/stoop, squat, climb, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, twist and bend at the neck, twist and bend at the waist and balance.

Normal visual acuity is necessary including the ability to distinguish colors.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68,000 - $93,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
