Role Overview:
Perform routine and advanced processing of Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell products using aseptic technique and perform technical duties in all laboratory sections, with minimal supervision.Maintain complete, accurate, legible, neat, organized, up-to-date records/logs/files.Assures the accuracy of all tests performed by adhering to the laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures. Performs routine and advanced equipment maintenance.Contribute to the upkeep and safety of the laboratory and assures a clean, safe, adequately supplied work area. Maintain adequate inventories of reagents and supplies.Manage the laboratory's physical environment following New York State DOH, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA, FACT, AABB, and CLIA regulations.Provide direction, training, and feedback on routine laboratory procedures, and trainee progress as assigned.Assess competencies and provides feedback, and additional training as neededProvide technical expertise/guidance in assigned area and overall technical assistanceAssists laboratory management to establish and optimize operational protocolsQualifications:
6 years’ experience or 4 years’ experience and a master’s degree in Cell TherapyBachelor's degree (Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences) requiredAn NYS State Clinical Lab Technician certificate, Lab Technologist license, or a restricted license in Molecular. Lab professionals will have a New York licenseHours:
Location: Please note that we staff at the following locations and flexibility to work at multiple sites is needed: CLM, Main Campus and Koch.Shifts: 9AM-5PM or 11AM-7PMReporting into: Manager, Cell Therapy
Pay Range: $$50.11-$80.21
$10,000 bonus for new hires!
