Heart Plaza Imaging is a busy outpatient cardiovascular diagnostic center. We perform nuclear cardiology exams, echocariogram exams, ultrasound vascular exams, venous ablation procedures, and non imaging cardiac stress testing. Job Summary Job Summary Screens patient and obtains pertinent information. Provide quality Nuclear Medicine imaging services. Provide quality patient care during cardiac stress testing and assists with ultrasound procedures. Responds to emergency care. Maintain patient information records in the Nuclear Medicine department. Maintain the department in working order. Provide oversight for students rotating through the department. Assist with clerical and other reporting duties assigned by supervisor or manager. Participate in at least 75% of scheduled department meetings. Education Completion of an accredited program in nuclear medicine, accredited by the American Medical Association. Experience Preferred but not required. Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. Qualifications Completion of an accredited program in nuclear medicine, accredited by the American Medical Association. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training or re-training will be required within 6 months of employment. Schedule Weekdays, 6:30am to 5:00pm, Days and Shifts vary with need.
