Departmental Overview NRHS Imaging Services is a full-service Radiology department performing over 200,000 studies each year, including screening exams, diagnostic testing, and interventional procedures. We operate a brand new state of the art hospital-based location, 2 free-standing Emergency Departments/Outpatient Centers, and two additional outpatient specialty locations. We serve three Emergency Departments, a wide variety of Inpatient units, and hundreds of outpatients throughout each day. Performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assists physicians with procedures. Assists in maintaining patient and room workflow. Participates in quality management activities. Essential Performance Expectations Education Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Experience Experience is preferred but not required. Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC. American Registry of Radiologic Technology registered or attainment of registration within one year of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. I.V. certification required before or during new hire orientation. Qualifications Education Completion of an accredited 2 or 4 year program in Radiologic Technology accredited by either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Experience One year of experience as a registered radiologic technologist preferred but not required. Licensure/Certification Registered Technologist with the ARRT or registry eligible with attainment of registration within 12 months of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current BLS is required to be maintained through re-training for the duration of employment (provided by NRHS). Maintenance of Registered Technologist status throughout employment with CMEs as required by the accrediting body. Compensation/Benefits $21.15-$34.55/hr depending on previous work experience. Shift differential available: $2.50/hour for evenings, $3.00/hour for overnight.
