Heart Plaza Imaging is a busy outpatient cardiovascular diagnostic center. We perform ultrasound echo and vascular diagnostic studies, venous ablation procedures, and cardiac stress testing. Job Summary Job Summary · Accesses the patient's condition · Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures · Assists physicians with procedures · Assists in the maintenance of patient ultrasound exam information. · Assists in maintaining the unit in working order Education Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent as defined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Experience None. One year of experience preferred. Licensure/Certification American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or registry eligible. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registered or registry eligible. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) registered or registry eligible. Must obtain Cardiac or Vascular registry within 1 year of hiring, both preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment Qualifications Education Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent as defined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Experience 3-5 years cardiac and vascular sonography experience preferred. Licensure / Certification American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered ARDMS/RDCS or RVT is required, both is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Schedule Weekdays 6:30am to 5:00pm - Days and shifts will vary.
