Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Technology and Strategy Salesforce Manager to join our Strategy and Growth organization. This position will be located onsite in McLean, Virginia, and will play a key role in supporting the Defense Sector’s Salesforce implementation, data analytics, and business strategy efforts. As a Salesforce subject matter expert, you will manage Salesforce tools and platforms like CRM Analytics and Tableau, while contributing to enterprise roadmap development, reporting, and tool adoption.
This role requires a proactive, highly organized leader who can work cross-functionally with corporate, sector, and division teams to define and execute solutions that meet business objectives, improve operational efficiency, and drive growth across the sector.
Essential Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration & Support: Serve as the Salesforce administrator for the Defense Sector, providing expertise in Salesforce pipeline tools, CRM Analytics, Tableau, and other associated applications.Data Migration & Reporting: Lead the migration, development, and reporting of data using Tableau and other data sources. Design and develop dashboards, reports, charts, pivot tables, and layouts to showcase the capabilities of Salesforce and other data tools.Salesforce Roadmap Development: Support the development and execution of the Salesforce enterprise roadmap, aligning sector priorities with enterprise needs.Leadership & Collaboration: Provide leadership and guidance to the Salesforce Product Committee and the DS Sector Salesforce Working Group, ensuring alignment and strategic direction.Training & Mentorship: Design, tailor, and deliver training for Salesforce users across different formats (virtual, in-person, recorded). Mentor new users and team leads to ensure effective adoption of Salesforce tools.Agile Development Support: Coordinate the development of business requirements, user stories, and Agile development sprints, working closely with corporate, sector, division, and IT teams.Reporting & Analytics: Define sector reporting requirements, ensuring accurate capture, delivery, and alignment with project milestones.Presentation & Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and reports to stakeholders, showcasing key developments and progress.Cross-functional Liaison: Act as a liaison between corporate and sector Digital Transformation teams to develop the Salesforce roadmap and drive execution of related projects.User Support: Provide technical support to Salesforce users, working in coordination with Northrop Grumman’s IT services and enterprise support teams.Operational & Integration Support: Assist with other business development operations tasks and integration duties as required by the Business Development Operations lead.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 10 plus years of related experience, or Master’s Degree and 7 plus years of experience.Relevant experience in Business Development, Operations, Strategy, or Project Management.Proven experience with Salesforce administration and management.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.Experience in the aerospace and defense industryPreferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman’s Business Acquisition Process.Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive successful program outcomes.Ability to conduct customer engagement and pipeline management, producing high-quality reports and presentations on a wide range of topics.Experience in leading change management efforts and supporting process improvement initiatives.Salary Range: $138,100.00 - $207,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
