What You Will Do: 

As a Technology Deployment Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects that deploy Lubrizol technology platforms smoothly into the marketplace. Your duties will include providing project support to the technology development team. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and executing project plans to serve customers effectively. Leading projects aimed at deploying engine oil additive technology to customers. Offering specialized project support when necessary. Scheduling, compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data accurately from laboratory and mechanical tests. Considering health, safety, and regulatory impacts in all actions related to the deployment of Lubrizol technology. Delivering robust formulas for commercialization, ensuring product quality in real-world scenarios. Utilizing problem-solving skills within your network to offer technical support and respond quickly to customer needs. Communicating project status clearly and effectively to stakeholders. Preparing and delivering timely and accurate customer reports, presentations, and internal project updates. Collaborating with internal and external test laboratories to ensure adequate resource allocation for business needs. Representing Lubrizol by creating and delivering presentations to customers as required.

What We're Looking For: 

To be successful in the Technology Deployment Manager role, you should possess the following qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field. At least two years of technical experience with Lubrizol, a lubricant additive or oil company, or within the specialty chemical industry. Proven project management experience. Experience contributing effectively to multifunctional teams. Strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to travel as needed.

Considered a Plus:

General knowledge of statistics or familiarity with experimental design and statistical techniques. A strong knowledge of, and interest in, engine hardware and technology.
