Job Title: Technology DesignerJob Description A growing and leading engineering firm is seeking a Technology Designer for upcoming commercial, government, and educational projects in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have around 3+ years of experience in commercial, government, and educational projects. Responsibilities + Interact with clients and other disciplines + Utilize AutoCAD or Revit for design tasks + Plan and design various integrated systems in the technology sector including outside plant cabling, structured cabling, wireless networks, access control, surveillance, and intrusion systems + Maintain client relationships + Coordinate with project managers + Prepare Division 27 and 28 technical specifications Essential Skills + Proficiency in Revit or CAD + 1+ years of experience within the technology/telecom space + Knowledge of telecommunications systems + Understanding of security systems Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with electrical systems + Revit/CAD proficiency + Strong communication and client interaction skills Work Environment The work environment includes starting out with 2+ days in the office and 3+ remote days. As you stay longer with the team, there will be more opportunities for remote work.
