Summary of Responsibilities:

Santander Consumer is looking for Technology Interns for Summer 2024. The Technology Internship role will provide the intern an understanding of the business of technology and what it takes to control our risk.  The expectation is that the intern will come out of this internship with an exposure to DevOps and GitOps. 

This 2025 Summer Internship for undergraduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025.

Essential Functions:

Some responsibilities of Technology internship role may include but are not limited to:

Infrastructure as code developmentDevOps AutomationDashboard development for Data SupportADO onboardingOHE adoptionIaC using Ansible, Powershell, Bash and Terraform

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a University or CollegePreferably majoring in Information Systems, MIS, Engineering, Math, Business, or related fieldExpected graduation date between December 2024 – May 2025Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00Fluency in English, both written and verbalStrong analytics and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and within teamsEager to learn and take on new responsibilitiesAvailability for entire internship programAbility to maintain confidentialityBe ready to work and have a positive attitude. Working Conditions:

Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needsTravel to multiple facilities may be requiredMay be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) poundsMay be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of timeMay require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
