In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Qualifications
Basic
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• At least 4 years of experience with DW/BI/Reporting and related tools, understanding of Data Modeling concepts.
Preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and tools - MUST
• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on production support, development and maintenance projects.
• Hands On experience in Design and development of Data visualization solutions using SAS tool
• Around 4 years of experience in design, build, deployment and support of SAS applications. Experience in performance tuning, SAS migration is a plus.
• At least 4 years of experience in the use of the SAS version 9.4 or higher with proven experience in the following areas:
• Advanced scripting and ETL
• Used Base SAS, Macros, Proc SQL
• Optimization of SAS code for performance
• Knowledge on Unix, scheduling tools (preferably Autosys/ESP), Mainframe knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge on Informatica would be a nice-to-have skill
• At least 2 years of experience in the use of the Informatica 9.x or higher
• Knowledge on Informatica Design, Code and Support
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology
• Work with clients for day-to-day activities and provide status
• Report interim status and work towards meeting throughput as per SLA
• Monitoring and taking complete ownership of production support mail box and respond to stakeholders/business users questions and escalate/publish load status as per escalation matrix about batch as per agreed SLA
• Making sure production batch complete as per SLAs agreed with customer business team.
• Have at least 1 yr production support experience and follow Standard Operating Procedures & Help Desk function for selected modules.
• Hands on experience in Base SAS (At least 5 yrs) and Unix (shell scripting) and resolve any production issues/failures in batch execution.
• Provide on call support during non-working hours.
• Work on Maintenance requests and user requests (Business/data issues) requests and provide resolution
• Knowledge on SAS Model Manager, Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide, Grid Administration
• Need to work with offshore and be available for Prod Support, Development and Maintenance activities while meeting the throughput promised as per the work order.
• Ability to estimate, plan and track projects for SAS solutions and mentor/guide team on technical areas pertaining to SAS.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Soft Skills: Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude
• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
• Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts
• Experience to Financial domain
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
