This position is based in Plano, TX, with a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work.

Who We’re Looking For

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Technology team is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced person to fill a role as a Technology Policy & Planning Lead supporting the Toyota Financial Savings Bank (TFSB).

This role will play a critical part in developing, implementing, and overseeing technology strategies and policies that align with the TFSB goals and regulatory requirements. This role will involve strategic planning, policy formulation, and ensuring the effective application of technology standards within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of banking technology, regulatory compliance, and strategic management.

What you’ll be doing

Develop and implement comprehensive technology strategies that support TFSB business objectives and growth plans.Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with the overall business strategy.Formulate, review, and update technology-related policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure policies are communicated effectively across the organization and are adhered to.Establish and oversee technology governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Monitor and evaluate technology performance and risk management practices.Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and emerging trends affecting banking technology.Ensure the organization’s technology practices comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Engage with key stakeholders including senior management, IT teams, and external partners to gather input, provide updates, and address concerns related to technology policies and planning.Identify potential technology-related risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related fieldProven experience in technology planning, policy development, and management within the banking or financial services industryStrong understanding of banking technology, regulatory environments, and risk managementExcellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and other stakeholdersDemonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects

Knowledge of the FDIC IT Examination HandbookRelevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISA, CISSP)
