Overview
The Technology Product Analyst plays a crucial role in the Product Delivery Model, leveraging Azure DevOps to ensure the successful delivery of the product. This role involves collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with the product roadmap and enterprise strategy. The ideal candidate for this position will be familiar with API documentation and be able to work directly with engineers to perform a gap analysis on our journey to Cloud.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring they align with the product vision and roadmap and define the success criteria for the product
+ Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements using techniques such as requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, use cases, scenarios, and data analysis
+ Create and maintain detailed product backlogs, including Epics, Features, Stories, and Non-Functional Requirements, ensuring they are prioritized and aligned with strategic initiatives
+ Participate in PI (Program Increment) Planning sessions to define and prioritize work items for upcoming sprints
+ Develop and present requirements using various models, prototypes, and scenarios to ensure clear communication with stakeholders
+ Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the product lifecycle, managing changes through effective change management practices
+ Collaborate with third-party vendors to understand system capabilities and integrate them into the product roadmap
+ Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing best practices to enhance product quality and delivery
+ Conduct competitive research and data analysis to inform product decisions and strategies
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Significant experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
+ Possesses/maintains advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio; artifacts and deliverables are polished and professional
+ Advanced experience in SQL and VBA database languages
+ Demonstrates significant creativity and variety of approaches to solving business and technical problems
+ Demonstrates competence in planning, organization, and multi-tasking, of large and complex efforts
+ Navy Federal Service Now knowledge
+ Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies, and procedures
+ Experience leading, guiding, and coaching team of staff and contractors
+ Manages multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals via effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
+ Possesses/maintains advanced skills with data querying, reporting, and analysis; comfortable recommending solutions to problems
+ Possesses/maintains advanced verbal and written communication skills
+ Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Desired Qualifications
+ Certifications in MS Azure Cloud Fundamentals, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is helpful
