About the Role & Team
Alongside the Technical Account Manager, lead systems evolution to deliver Disney Parks platform improvements to reservations and booking systems through API integration.
Act as Lead on the delivery of progressive technology projects, working closely and managing relationships with global partners, defining project scopes and maintaining timelines.
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week
What You Will Do
Partner with the Technical Account Manager and key partners in crafting technical specifications, collaborating closely with internal team members and external technology partners, from discovery/development through to solution deliveryBuild, maintain and lead relationships with core technology partners to support key business projectsTake the lead on creating defined project requirements to develop and maintain detailed project plans to ensure project work and responsibilities are completed within agreed cost and timescalesBe responsible for identifying any risks associated with projects and forming resolutionsDemonstrate technical expertise and understanding, plus the ability to analyse and problem solve to propose technical solutions to meet business and project needsWork with the Senior Manager – Ecommerce and Digital on the digital roadmap, providing strategic feedback on technology to meet AOP goalsRequired Qualifications & Skills
Demonstrable experience of leading and managing technology projectsBusiness analysis and technology systems support background, essential, within travel industry, preferableProven experience in business analyst or equivalent role, with a focus on requirements gathering and shaping systems solutions, desirableExperience with issue-tracking tools such as JIRAExperience working within a large, matrix organisationDemonstrable experience of writing clear, comprehensive documentation/specificationsBackground of building relationships with both internal and external collaborators, both domestically and internationallyExperience of supervising or managing and developing direct reportsSolution driven approach to problem solving, using initiativeAble to work as part of an effective team as well as independently whilst supervising a teamAbility to build presentations to a high standard in accordance with brand guidelines, and deliver ideas in a clear and compelling mannerStrong written and spoken English for business use, crucial, with the ability to effectively present both virtually and face to face, helpfulKnowledge of the Disney brand and products and services the Company offers, with the ability to work within brand guidelinesThe Perks
