Job Summary:

In this role you will focus on implementing processes to ensure the achievement of technology project objectives, exclusively within the software development life cycle (SDLC). Responsibilities include creating project and resource plans that align with budget allocation and program milestones; documenting and driving underlying tasks and assignments to complete project deliverables on schedule; closing a project, including budget reconciliation; and, for technical projects following a waterfall or other methodologies (as needed), coordinating development activities.

Responsibilities: 

Provide hands-on technology project management and documentation to support technology projectsDrive planning at the various organizational levels to ensure projects are on track/resourcedEstablish project governance and communication with stakeholdersEnsure timetable and deliverable schedules are understood and communicatedManage dependencies proactively, coordinate across teams to resolve issues and mitigate risksContribute to executive level updates on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc.Organize required reporting for business and technology management review sessionsTrack financials related to technology expenditures including software, hardware, and resource allocation

Required Experience:

5-6 years' experience managing SDLC projectsExperience within a technology organization in the financial services industry is preferredExperience tracking projects and tasks through Jira/ConfluenceMust be hands-on with project documentation for planning, test approach, and log, and proactive in closing open itemsUnderstanding of knowledge/familiarity with Project Management tools/methods and alert management systemsThorough understanding of project management fundamentals and the SDLCExcellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex issues conciselyExcellent organizational skillsGood consensus builder: ability to report to senior management as requiredAbility to work across organizations and through obstacles

Other Qualifications: 

As per MUFG’s work policy, must work onsite 4 days and 1 day remotely out of 210 Hudson Street, Jersey City, NJ office.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $105K - $127K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
