Technology Risk Relationship Manager

We are currently seeking a Technology Risk Relationship Manager to support IT and cybersecurity risk management activities within the Enterprise Technology and Operations (ETO) Division. This role serves as a subject matter expert and trusted partner to IT and cybersecurity leadership in helping them assess, manage and monitor their risks and controls. This individual will be part of the first line of defense risk management team within ETO and will play a critical part in ensuring that risks and controls are effectively managed in alignment with internal requirements and industry best practices. 


To be successful in this opportunity, it is important that you have strong IT risk management experience or strong directly related experience in IT domains (including cybersecurity). Responsibilities:


-Serve as a risk management subject matter expert for designated IT and cybersecurity domains
-Assess IT related processes, risks and controls to ensure risks are appropriately identified, measured and mitigated 
-Build and maintain strong relationships with management stakeholders and foster a collaborative environment with team members 
-Advise and assist process and control owners on various risk management activities including risk and control self-assessments, control identification and maintenance, and issue management
-Partner with stakeholders to develop and monitor key risk indicators and establish other risk monitoring processes
-Ensure that controls are aligned with established industry frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, COBIT, FFIEC).
-Develop and provide training to process and control owners risk various risk management topics 
-Lead complex risk initiatives involving stakeholders from various IT and cybersecurity domains to strengthen overall risk posture and control effectiveness 
-Develop reporting for leadership and risk management committees.

Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience in IT risk management, IT audit, controls management, governance, cybersecurity or directly related experience
-Experience leading complex IT risk management initiatives involving stakeholders from various groups 
-Ability to effectively partner with a variety of stakeholders including process owners, team members, management, and auditors
-Strong knowledge of industry frameworks (NIST, COBIT, FFIEC) and experience aligning risk management practices with these frameworks 
-Experience assessing IT processes, risks, controls, issues and metrics 
-A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, information security, business, accounting or a related field.
-A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

 
Plus:


Applicable certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Risk & Information Systems Control (CRISC) 
Experience using the RSA Archer governance, risk and compliance system
Experience using ServiceNow
IT risk management experience within a large financial institution, banking, and/or financial services


Location:

This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
