Summary:
SAP Ariba Procurement Technology Services is a team of high skilled diverse technology consultants that support complex technical configurations to enable spend management business processes and seamless integrations between SAP Ariba cloud solutions and enterprise resource planning systems or external systems. Our team is looking for a senior SAP S/4 HANA consultant with 8 -13 years of experience. This role leverages consulting skills, advisory skills, business knowledge and strong solution expertise to effectively manage and deliver large scale complex integrations for SAP Ariba cloud offerings.
Role:
Provide deep SAP functional & technical expertise to implement best-in class supply chain processes for SAP Ariba customers. Propose, conceptualize, design and implement solutions that involve integrations between SAP Ariba cloud offerings, S/4 HANA and/or SAP ECC. Demonstrate knowledge of key integration points across SAP modules, technical components and SAP Ariba solutions to provide strategic technical and functional direction. Proactively apply global SAP implementation experience to guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions. Organize and facilitate collaborative solution architecting workshops with consulting partners, client business managers and end-users to drive industry best practices. Validate and assess feasibility on business requirements analysis or design decisions made by consulting partners, customer’s business and IT delivery team members. Develop functional specifications and work with BASIS and ABAP personnel resources to complete object development and testing. Prepare technical artifacts including technical design documents, integration design documents and quick reference guides. Lead and manage technical development and configurations for SAP Ariba, SAP ECC and S/4 HANA solutions. Enable business rules and integration configurations on SAP/S/4 HANA and Ariba applications suite. Facilitate SAP software components installation and configuration. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical or business problems. Establish and nurture relationships with business users, help analyze their processes, make value driven choices by being proactive and adaptive. Integrate technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for customers. Demonstrate broad technical leadership, exert influence outside of immediate team and drive change. Mentor and train SAP ABAP resources on S/4 HANA.
Role requirements:
Bachelor or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration with focus on Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or related area. Minimum 7 years of technical and functional experience implementing SAP ERP solutions. Minimum 3 years of technical experience implementing SAP S/4 HANA solutions (Procurement). 7+ years of SAP ERP technical experience with focus on supply chain. 3+ years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA with focus on procurement. Hands on project-based experience designing and implementing SAP S/4 HANA solutions that involved green field implementations, system conversions or landscape transformations. Strong knowledge of ABAP programming for S/4HANA – New Enhancement Framework, CDS Views, AMDP, Gateway, object-oriented programming etc. Strong understanding of developing complex WRICEF objects. Hands-on experience implementing user exits, enhancements, report and transaction objects, scripts, BAPIs, RFCs, API, OData, IDocs, ALE/EDI, internal and external integration technologies. Exposure to SOAP, Micro Services and one or more SAP Cloud Platform Capabilities – ABAP, Integration, Workflow, User Experience, Mobility, Analytics, Machine Learning, Block Chain etc. Experience integrating SAP Ariba solutions with SAP S/4 HANA. Strong business process knowledge and ability to map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal or no customization. Global Delivery Model experience working with geographically distributed teams positioned across global time zones. Ability to strategize and support ERP migration projects as a trusted advisor. Ability to handle high pressure and high demand situations effectively as a technical lead or an integration lead. Experience with SAP implementation methodologies and SAP Solution Manager. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in both technical and user-friendly language, presentation skills and influencing skills.
