Kforce is looking for a Technology Analyst for a client in the Dekalb, IL area. The Technology Support Analyst position administers all aspects of Business Technology to support the organization. This role includes providing outstanding customer service at all organizational levels and promptly diagnosing and resolving issues. This role provides technical monitoring and guidance in security-related activities. The Technology Support Analyst will also provide end-user support on company-provided hardware and software platforms by responding to user requests.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* Monitor security systems including, but not limited to, endpoints, servers, systems, and email
* Monitor and administrate patch management and other network security as appropriate
* Monitor the Help Desk Support System for new tickets, create and update tickets as support is performed
* Maintain daily performance of computer systems
* Order, install, modify, and remove hardware and software as per company standards
* Maintain inventory records in the asset management system
* Perform needs assessment, product reviews, and provide procurement advice for software and hardware
* Advise end-users and management on recommendations
* Manage setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software
* Perform institutional upgrades and sweeps, as needed, following established procedures for installation and machine configuration
* Routinely collaborate with the technology team on technical troubleshooting, problem resolution, unit coverage, and product recommendations
