**The Role**
The Bid Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating complex technology service proposals and bids, ensuring high-quality responses that align with company strategy, our value propositions and maximize win probability. This role combines technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and project management skills to deliver compelling proposals for enterprise technology solutions.
This role involves assembling a bid team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, while taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures and processes. This is a highly networked role that requires the ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management skills in a dynamic sales environment.
**The Main Responsibilities**
+ Lead and manage all aspects of the end-to-end bid management process, including RFP/RFI analysis, bid strategy development, planning, prioritizing, solution development coordination, pricing structuring, coordinating bid activities and final proposal compilation.
+ Assemble and lead a bid team with the necessary expertise to develop a winning proposal.
+ Orchestrate cross-functional bid teams including solutions architects, product specialists, pricing analysts, and legal teams to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals
+ Analyze customer requirements, competitive landscape, and market conditions to develop winning strategies and value propositions
+ Establish and maintain bid timelines, ensuring all stakeholders meet critical deadlines and quality standards throughout the proposal process
+ Develop and implement bid procedures and processes to ensure consistency and quality.
+ Work closely with sales, product, and service teams to gather information and insights for the bid.
+ Ensure that all bid documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
+ Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the bid process.
+ Monitor and report on bid progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
+ Drive the development of custom pricing models and commercial structures in collaboration with finance and solution teams
+ Manage executive reviews and sign-off processes, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines
+ Maintain bid library and knowledge management system to improve efficiency and proposal quality
+ Lead proposal presentations and support contract negotiations as needed
**What We Look For in a Candidate**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
+ Professional certification in proposal management (APMP) or project management (PMP) will be advantageous

+ At least 4+ years of experience in bid management, preferably in technology services or telecommunications industry
+ Strong understanding of enterprise technology solutions, including networking, cloud services, and managed services
+ Excellence in project management, with ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
