Job Description
As a member of our Securities Services Technology Support team you will be responsible for the overall health and uptime of our applications, identify bottlenecks and partner with our Business and Development teams to facilitate resolution of complex failures.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain applications up and running, apply fixes and execute deployments. Partner with Development and Business teams to identify and fix production issues. Identify opportunities for automation and toil reduction, and work with the entire team to drive the implementation of these solutions. Review deployment plans and tasks, ensuring they adhere to industry best practices and firmwide guidelines. Update monitoring systems to keep up with changes in a timely fashion.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
CS/BA degree or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience supporting production applications at scale. Advanced knowledge in SQL database queries (Oracle/MySQL). Experience working with Unix systems.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Knowledge in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java) Hands-on experience with public cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
