Technology Support Specialist
Job Description An educational institution is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join their team supporting computing and A/V systems for faculty, staff, and students affiliated with the Paul Merage School of Business. This individual will be providing in-person, e-mail, and telephone technical support to supported users during the day, evening, and weekend shifts. The specialist will also assist and troubleshoot errors with the computing and audio/visual equipment; and support hardware and software for desktop and laptop computers running the latest releases of Microsoft Windows and Macintosh operating systems, the MS Office productivity suite, and campus-specific software titles. Skills and Requirements 1-2 years of experience in an IT Support Role 1 year of experience supporting computing and audio/visual systems Strong Knowledge of internet security tools (VPN, SSH, malware and virus detection and removal). Experience with Internet/Intranet software for Windows and OS X; Chrome, Firefox, IE/EDGE Outstanding customer service skills Bachelor's Degree Experience with Streaming Multimedia.
