The hiring salary for this position will be from the min to mid-point of the salary range.
The Technology Training Associate provides administrative support to the staff of the Information Management Team (IMT) while actively participating in the department’s strategic planning and assessment processes to ensure continuous program success and improvement. The Technology Training Associate is responsible for the maintenance of the Technical Training Center which includes fourteen workstations equipped with phones, Smart Podium, projection systems, tele conferencing equipment, document camera, and document scanner and printer. Additionally, the individual in this role is responsible for documenting training program processes and workflows and maintaining documentation in an organized electronic library.

50% - Technical Training / Program Support
Maintain the Technical Training Registration web site (NEOED), which list all the course offerings by term.Use HTML editors or web content management system within LMS as selected for the institution to update the course offerings each term. Responsible as the Registration web page editor to assure current information is correctly displayed.Respond to student inquiries regarding access, navigation, contacts, content, and assessment.Collaborates with content instructors to modify course content, assessments, documents, links, etc. Participates in the pilot phase for all new online courses.Monitor completion and grades for online courses and enter grades into Colleague for students who have successfully completed a course. Rollover courses in NEOED for the next term and set up sections for the new term. Schedule on site course sections each term in Colleague, NEOED, Email Calendar, and on website. If one-on-one training, verify room and instructor availability. Accurately and professionally print, collate, bind all materials for on-site lecture format courses, vendor training, department-specific instruction, etc. for all campus locations *if required. Analyze data to provide requested reports including an annual program status update which incorporates comparisons (statistics, percentages) from year to year.Assist in scheduling for in-house, vendor and/or consultant training and demonstrations as well as planned meetings. Serve as point-of-contact for troubleshooting technical difficulties for instructors (on-site and remote), presenters, vendors, consultants, guests, etc. Coordinate special accommodations such as software installations, security/access requirements, presentation needs, conferencing connections (web, phone) and instructional delivery supplies. Provide lab setup as required such as Zoom sessions, laptop connections, etc.
20% Planning, Research and Analysis
Planning short term (three months, i.e. course schedules) and long term (one to two years, i.e., instructional methods, technology upgrades). Evaluation of satisfaction surveys (on-site, on-line). Consolidate feedback for coordinator, instructors, supervisors and/or process owners. Respond swiftly to all concerns and/or requests for personal follow-up.Compilation of annual statistics for program status update relating to students, courses, participation, etc. Analyze trends used in formulation of program expansion/advancement.Research and analysis of trends, benchmarks and assessment data to implement program enhancements or expansion.Research recommendations for software improvements to process owners and/or technology personnel based on repetitive feedback.30% - Administrative Support
Information System Security Request Forms (ISSR) – Manage the ISSR email account. Process all online forms by electronically linking into imaging system (Perceptive Content), link to individual employee records (in Colleague), forward to appropriate queue for processing. Monitor forms through the processing workflow. Serves as a Point of Contact for IMT regarding the ISSR Forms and answers inquiries relating to the ISSR process. Troubleshoot and resolve ISSR form/Remote Access Application issues (incorrect information, incomplete, etc.) with the assistance of Technology Associates.Create, Update, and Track work order tickets related to system access request in the Team Dynamix (TDX) work order system. This often involves collaboration with the Help Desk, specifically the Help Desk Manager.Upon direction from IMT staff, assists in updates of system (Colleague) validation codes, shared codes, file codes, and database tables; assist in entry and editing of data as identified by staff.Create graphs and charts using Microsoft Applications for use by IMT staff for presentations.Provides support to Project Manager and Director. Attends meetings and records notes. Additional Duties:

Required Education and Experience:Associate degree and minimum of two years’ experience in the Information Technology field, or a minimum of five years combination of college education and/or work experience in the Information Technology. Experience with high-speed color laser printers required (configuration settings, maintenance requirements, printing options, etc.).
Preferred Education and Experience:Experience with higher education business applications software systems (Colleague preferred).MS Office 365 Professional experience preferred.Experience with online learning delivery systems (NEOED preferred).Experience with application, databases, and web servers (HP preferred).Experience with design software such as Adobe CS, Canva, Publisher, etc.
