Our work depends on a Technology Training Program Team Leader joining our team to who will prepare and conduct training to support our NIH contract. Training would be expected to be developed and facilitated for Office 365 current and new applications, as well as new technologies available for NIH stakeholders, including NIH researchers and clinicians.
Technology Training Program Team Leader prepares and/or conducts training programs, teaches classes, holds seminars and discussion groups. Designs, develops, organizes and delivers training programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Creates teaching outline in conformance with selected instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of training methods.
HOW A TECHNOLOGY TRAINING PROGRAM TEAM LEADER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific training projects.Provides solutions to a variety of training programs of moderate scope and complexity.Plans and designs instructional methods and materials.Identifies and recommends training and design solutions to develop program management curricula/programs.Conducts on-site, virtual and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or employees. Coordinates the development of measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.Maintains current knowledge of relevant training and technology as assigned with a focus on O365 applications and updates.Create custom training requested by the NIH Institutes and CentersSchedule quarterly regularly scheduled courses offered by the Technology Training ProgramFacilitate 10 - 12 training sessions a monthCoordinate one on one consultation with end users, as neededCreates, maintains, and delivered reports regarding training metricsResponsible for creating and maintaining certification and accreditation documentation for all endpoint management utilitiesWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of training or teaching experienceRequired Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and communication skills with the demonstrative ability to work with all levels within the organization.Ability to perform independently and under pressure of time constraints with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Documented experience planning and designing training courses covering subject matters that are unusually broad and highly complex.In-depth understanding and knowledge of various training modalities such as virtual, in-person, one-on-one, lecture, and hands-onStrong Organizational skillsAdvanced research skillsPreferred Skills:
Ability to facilitate training virtually across multiple platforms, i.e. MS Teams, Zoom, etc.Strong PowerPoint skillsExperience creating and implementing training with meets 508 compliance guidelinesStrong presentation skillsSecurity Clearance Level:
