What will you be doing?

 

The Engineer's role is to ensure that WWT/industry best practices and methodologies are applied to design, deployment and operations of TELCO/Service Provider technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Consultant/Engineer to design, implement, and manage advanced network infrastructures. This role focuses on providing consultative solutions, driving product adoption, and ensuring the successful execution of complex Service Provider projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement scalable, secure network solutions, including MPLS Service Provider Transport Networks, Enterprise Networks, and Data Centers. Lead complex network migration projects, including MPLS-SR Spine-Leaf Fabric Network transitions. Develop and execute detailed network diagrams, low-level designs (LLD), and implementation plans. Utilize advanced networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, L3VPN, EVPN, BFD, ) for designing underlay and overlay networks (recursive route resolution, VRFs, pseudowires, control and data plane concepts, etc.) Familiar with network monitoring practices (SNMP, syslog, gRPC) and able to infer from provided MOPs / deployment guides / documentation Automate network processes using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Provide architectural consulting, including BOMs, SOWs, and solution presentations. Train and mentor team members, enabling effective contribution to ongoing projects. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment and customer satisfaction. Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and trends to enhance service delivery.
