Our Telecom Engineer will lead and perform work that is highly complex and varied in nature relating to network/telecom operations, installation, and/or maintenance for local, off-site and/or remote locations. This individual will develop integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues and be a recognized expert internally and externally, often providing strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services. **A Day in the Life** + Works with Leadership, Networking staff, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. + Provides technical engineering oversight and support of network/telecommunications environment. Manage direction, schedules, and budgets of engineering projects. + Coordinates telecom related work assignments and schedules for the purpose of minimizing disruption of services and/or inconvenience. + Maintains relationships with customers, vendors and internal teams;provides reports, complete requests for new services, and determines methodology for providing new telecom service. + Repairs/maintains/diagnosis telecommunication systems and equipment, and a variety of other electronic equipment and systems (e.g., Telecommunications systems Cisco CM, public address systems, patches and upgrades etc.). + Monitors assigned servers, systems and applications for the purpose of ensuring continuity of service. **You’ll Come With** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience + 5+ years of experience managing large corporate phone system and adjuncts (e.g., call account, paging, conference bridge, etc.) + Ability to lead projects, provide guidance and mentor junior team members + Experience with Cisco VoIP and Call Manager + Understanding of station and house cabling w/low voltage wiring + Knowledge of Carrier Services + Experience with Microsoft Teams telephony features + Expected to be available for rotational on-call + Limited travel: Should have the ability to travel to various facilities if needed **_Come join our team.
