Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Telecommunications Engineer- VoIP in the Falls Church/Alexandria, VA area. This is an ONSITE position supporting the US government.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Design, configure, and deploy Cisco Collaboration solutions, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, and Cisco IM & PresenceDevelop and implement Voice over IP (VoIP) network architectures that meet US government standardsIntegrate VoIP systems with existing network infrastructure and ensure interoperability with other communication systemsPerform regular maintenance, updates, and patches to VoIP systems to ensure optimal performance and securityTroubleshoot and resolve VoIP-related issues, including call quality, connectivity, and configuration problemsProvide technical support and training to end-users and IT staff on VoIP systems and featuresEnsure Collaboration systems comply with US government security protocols and communication requirementsImplement and maintain security measures, including encryption, access controls, and monitoring, to protect Collaboration communicationsConduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilitiesCreate and maintain detailed documentation of Collaboration system configurations, network diagrams, and standard operating proceduresGenerate reports on Collaboration system performance, usage, and security incidentsCollaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of VoIP systems

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in directly related fieldMust have at least 4 years of Digital Audi Recording (DAR) and Video Tele-conferencing (VTC) experienceMust have at least 5 years of experience in Cisco VoIP/ CUCM engineering. Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco routers and switches.Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco VoIP solutionsIn-depth knowledge/experience of CUCM, Unity Connection, Cisco IM & Presence, and related technologiesStrong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP) and network protocols (TCP/IP, QoS)Carrier experience with porting, SIP integration, and edge integration (like TDM gateways and SBC’s).Technical supervisory experience regarding telecommunications engineeringExperience planning, evaluating, and coordinating the installation of local and/or remote data and voice communications equipment such as terminals, video conferencing units, multi-point conferencing units, and VoIP telephonesExperience managing and issuing individual and system PKI certificatesAbility to ensure that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructionsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

CCNA certificationCCS experienceCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP)Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an IT, engineering, or network field10+ years IT experience

Clearance Requirements:

U.S. CitizenshipAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to setting start date

Physical Requirements:
