Kforce has a client in Holyoke, MA that is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to work a hybrid/on-site role. Primary Responsibilities * Design and implement analog and digital voice communication systems, including PBX, Voice gateways, IAD routers, FXS/FXO, VoIP, SIP, LTE and related technologies * Conduct performance analysis of voice communication systems and identify opportunities for improvement * Develop and maintain circuit management solutions, including traffic analysis, network optimization, and troubleshooting with commercial vendors * Configure and maintain multiplexers for data transmission over communication lines * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy reliable voice communication solutions that meet business needs * Work together with a team on various projects to update and modernize telecom and network infrastructure * Identify and recommend the latest telecommunication technologies, standards, and best practices * Provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians * Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams * Participate in project planning and management, including scoping, execution, and documentation * Work with various carriers, LECs and vendors to complete and maintain circuits and circuit orders
