You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system. **Job Description:** At Regions, the Telecommunications Engineer develops, implements, and maintains the configuration and programming of the Regions Contact Center and/or Audio-Visual systems. **Primary Responsibilities** + Performs various telecommunication system installations and maintenance routines + Designs, develops, codes, debugs, tests, implements and provides daily technical support and maintenance for all applicable applications and systems + Troubleshoots system issues, determines root cause, repairs, coordinates with vendors when necessary + Monitors help desk ticket queues and resolves telecommunications related tickets + Creates, plans, and executes project plans relating to applicable systems and applications + Researches, recommends, and deploys new technologies This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. **Requirements** + Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years telecommunications or related experience + Or, a High School Diploma or GED and eleven (11) years telecommunications experience **Skills and Competencies** + Ability to work autonomously, with occasional guidance + Advanced understanding of voice and data technologies as used in the enterprise network + Basic knowledge of telecommunication configuration tools, database management, application integration, and security + Basic project management skills + Basic understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Internet Protocol (IP), and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP)/ Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) + Experience assisting vendors with the implementation of new systems at various locations including the contact center and remote locations + Experience with PowerShell and Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) + Good writing, verbal communication and technical documentation skills including providing on-the-job knowledge transfer + Working knowledge of applicable software such as but not limited to Cisco Contact Center, Genesys or Noble Dialer, Cisco Control Hub, Cisco Device Connector, Air Medias, and TMS + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows products Genesys Cloud experience preferred This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience This position is currently offsite in **Birmingham AL, Nashville TN, Atlanta GA, Charlotte NC,** **Dallas TX, Denver CO, Houston TX, Orlando FL, Salt Lake City UT, and Tampa FL** and associates will work from their home primarily. They may be expected to go on site for meetings or other events as needed. **Position Type** Full time **Compensation Details** Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
