Telecommunications Planner I (Walk Out)

What You’ll Do: 

Tracks jobs according to company procedures Read and understand various telecommunication schematics and designs Understand and apply fiber and coaxial design specifications Create/Review proposed design considerations for feasibility, as well as for future growth and serviceability Familiarity with permits (pole, railroad, TX Dot), easements, and right of way for service routes Identifies and verifies existing overhead and underground utilities Considers all contributing factors when completing service routes and applicable make-readies Interact with clients, utilities, municipalities, residential and commercial customers Accurately tracks time spent on jobs, the mileage and materials needed to perform duties Complete SOW packages according to client specific standards, procedures and requirements Interacts with and ensures the continued satisfaction of clients, utilities, municipalities, residential and commercial customers Follow general safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE High school diploma or equivalent Preferred 2 years’ previous experience working for a telecommunication, utility, construction, engineering or electrical background company 

Required Qualifications:

3 or more years’ experience working for a telecommunication, utility, construction, engineering or electrical background company is considered as a plus Related certifications, and previous OSP and/or telecom design experience a plus
