Telehealth Veterinary Technician - Part Time
**Our Opportunity:** Chewy is looking for a **Telehealth Veterinary Technician** to join our Healthcare Team. Join a team that cares deeply about improving pet health compliance and providing outstanding customer service for both the pet parent and veterinary community. **This is a Part Time position between 20-25 hrs / wk and shift lengths between 4-8hrs. The majority of these shifts will be during evenings and weekends. Team Members must be located in the following states: AZ, FL, IA, KS, OK, PA, TX, or WA.** **What You'll Do:** + The Telehealth Veterinary Technician will participate and champion the support and education to Chewy's pet parents on products and services that help animal health and wellbeing. + Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health. + Participate in program development and enhancing training procedures. + Identify and triage platform improvements and support innovative advancements. + Collaborate with Chewy Health Team Members on the development of current and new services and products. + Chewy offers full training and vital materials for the vet tech to support and provide effective communication with pet parents efficiently. **What You'll Need:** + Active Vet Tech License / Certification (CVT, LVT or RVT) + A Veterinary Technology associates or bachelor’s degree from a NAVTA and/or AVMA-CVTEA accredited program, or equivalent is required. + 3+ years of small animal veterinary experience or equivalent industry experience. + Must have proficient computer skills as this will require interacting with customers and Chewy Team Members remotely through an online platform. + Someone who accepts forward thinking and curiosity. + Has exemplary listening and problem-solving skills. + Ability to multitask comfortably. + Is comfortable collaborating with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, applying a team-oriented environment. + Is passionate about helping people and pets with compassion and excellent customer service focus. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment. + The Team Member’s internet speed must be at least 50 Mbps (download) and 10 Mbps (upload). + Have a designated working space that is quiet and free from disruptions. + Minimal travel required. **Chewy is committed to equal opportunity.
