Telehealth Veterinary Technician (PM Shift)
**Our Opportunity:** Chewy is looking for a **Telehealth Veterinary Technician** to join our Healthcare Team. Join a team that cares deeply about improving pet health compliance and providing best in class customer service for both the pet parent and veterinary community. _The schedule for this position will be Tuesday - Saturday 4:00pm - 12:15am EST._ **What You'll Do:** + The Telehealth Veterinary Technician will participate and champion the support and education to Chewy's pet parents on products and services that help animal health and wellbeing. + Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health. + Participate in program development and enhancing training procedures. + Identify and triage platform improvements and support innovative advancements. + Collaborate with Chewy Health team members on the development of current and new services and products. + Candidates must be willing to commit to working 40hrs/weekly + Chewy offers full training and necessary materials for the vet tech to support and provide effective communication with pet parents efficiently. + Chewy offers holiday pay on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. **What You'll Need:** + Active Vet Tech License / Certification (CVT, LVT or RVT) + A Veterinary Technology associates or bachelor’s degree from a NAVTA and/or AVMA-CVTEA accredited program, or equivalent is required. + 3+ years of small animal veterinary experience or equivalent industry experience. + Must have proficient computer skills as this will require interacting with customers and Chewy team members remotely through an online platform. + Someone who embraces forward thinking and curiosity. + Has exemplary listening and problem-solving skills. + Ability to multitask comfortably. + Is comfortable collaborating with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, utilizing a team-oriented environment. + Is passionate about helping people and pets with empathy and excellent customer service focus. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment. + The Team Member’s internet speed must be at least 50 Mbps (download) and 10 Mbps (upload). + Have a designated working space that is quiet and free from disruptions. + Minimal travel required. **Chewy is committed to equal opportunity.
