The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Burnaby, BC is looking for a Telemarketer to assist in the business development efforts of a Wealth Advisory team.
You will play a key role in reaching potential clients and introducing them to our Wealth Advisory team. In this entry-level position you will be the first point of contact with potential clients, booking their first appointment with the Wealth Advisor, and setting the stage for the wealth management services we provide.
Key Responsibilities:Make outbound calls to high-net-worth professionals and business owners.Introduce our services and book qualified appointments.Follow a structured script while adapting conversations to engage prospects effectively.Track and document call results, follow-ups, and client interactions in our CRM system.Handle objections professionally and identify opportunities for future follow-ups.Ideal Candidate:Fluent in English (verbal and written). Clear, professional, and confident communication is a must.Previous cold calling, telemarketing, or sales experience (preferably in financial services, insurance, or high-net-worth clientele).Strong persuasion and objection-handling skills.Self-motivated and results-oriented. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.Background in finance, investments, or wealth management is an asset but not required.What’s in it for you?
