About this RoleProvides support for various HR employee programs within the organization. This role involves collecting and analyzing data to improve efficiency and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Familiar with standard DOT, FMCSA, or other compliance agency concepts, practices, and procedures.
What You'll Do Collect and analyze telematics data, including vehicle tracking.Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of telematics devices.Maintain system integrity and ensure real-time data accuracyTrain drivers on the use of telematics systems and related tools.Act a liaison between drivers and field management. Identify and address safety risk using telematics insights.Create/update fleet policy and procedures, to include vehicle assignment, personal use, replacement policy, accident reporting process, and other procedures. Monitor compliance with federal, state, and company regulations for fleet operations. Colloborate with operations and logistics team to implement data-driven improvements.Maintain Drive File records and management system in compliance with DOT record retention and regulations. DOT employment verificationsAssist in maintaining driver qualification files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.Keeps employee records up to date by processing status changes in timely manner.Develop, maintain and provide a variety of reports or queries from NECS as needed or requested.Assist in maintaining orientation materials and suppliesOther duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education or training preferred.Experience in Word, Excel, HRIS database, and other applicable database programs helpful. Knowledge of Company policies/procedures & or the ability & willingness to learn. Strong organizational skills. Effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful situations. Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
