ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Telemetry Nurse part-time, which is also referred to as our Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse at St John Hospital a member of Prime Healthcare. A dedicated nurse specializing in attending to patients within medical-surgical units, especially those needing cardiac monitoring. Our Telemetry Nurse is instrumental in overseeing the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of individuals needing cardiac surveillance during their hospitalization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plansmonitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, which allows for remote monitoring of patients' heart rates and rhythmscommunicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatologyadminister medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for any adverse reactionsprovide hands-on care to patients, including wound care, administering treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional supporteducate patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and treatments, as well as provide guidance on self-care practices and lifestyle modificationsrespond quickly to changes in patient conditions throughout shift and be able to address any concerns to the physician as soon as possiblemaintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patients' conditions, treatments, and responses to interventions** If you are a licensed Registered Nurse (RN), we're prepared to provide training to suitable candidates for this role.
