Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse is a professional nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to an assigned group of patients using the nursing process. This role involves coordinating care with the healthcare team, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Clinical Nurse may serve as a charge nurse, supervising nursing care within an assigned unit in the absence of or alongside the Nurse Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide total patient care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process.Coordinate services with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless and effective care.Act as a charge nurse, supervising and directing nursing care in collaboration with or in the absence of the Nurse Manager.Identify and resolve nursing service issues to maintain high standards of patient care in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.Demonstrate behavior aligned with the Mission and Core Values of Community Hospital of San Bernardino.Actively contribute to the hospital’s strategic plan and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
One (1) year and six (6) months experience in acute care nursing preferred. California Registered Nurse (RN) License Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
