Job Title: Telemetry Systems EngineerJob Description Support mission analysis and requirements for the TT&C subsystem. This includes leading and writing system requirements, SOC, Verification and Validation efforts, design descriptions, budgets, specifications, and test requirements. This also encompasses verification and validation of the Tracking, Telemetry, and Command sub-system performance, monitoring suppliers, and integrated product teams while providing inputs and support to all program reviews including EQSR, SRR, PDR, CDR. Additionally, the subsystem lead will attend all test reviews (TRR, TRB, DRB), support sub-system Assembly, Integration, and Test activities, and support Satellite testing (EGSE, Test supervision, data analysis). This individual will write the subsystem operation manual and support In-Orbit Test (IOT). Responsibilities + Lead and write system requirements, SOC, Verification, and Validation efforts + Create design descriptions, budgets, specifications, and test requirements + Verify and validate Tracking, Telemetry, and Command sub-system performance + Monitor suppliers and integrated product teams + Provide inputs and support to all program reviews including EQSR, SRR, PDR, and CDR + Attend all test reviews (TRR, TRB, DRB) and support sub-system Assembly, Integration, and Test activities + Support Satellite testing, including EGSE, test supervision, and data analysis + Write subsystem operation manual and support In-Orbit Test (IOT) Essential Skills + Experience with spacecraft and satellite requirements analysis + Proficiency in integration testing and telemetry + Knowledge of modulation, RF systems, and ground communication + Experience in TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking, and Control) Subsystem design + Understanding of Internet coverage, link budgets, and Geosynchronous arch + Familiarity with different communication protocols for the TT&C system + Knowledge of modulation types (e.g., QPSK modulation, PN ranging) and signal performance + Understanding of frequency, instigation, and evaluation of range rate + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in a relevant field + 5+ years of relevant experience (10 years preferred) + Experience with LEO/MEO/GEO satellites and TT&C sub-systems + Understanding of the space environment and orbit mechanics Additional Skills & Qualifications + Hands-on individual who can lead all systems integration processes + Experience with qualification and acceptance testing of new designs + Experience leading and coaching a technical team + Support the Spacecraft operations team in critical phases Work Environment This is an exciting opportunity to work 100% REMOTE in the commercial aerospace industry.
