Job Overview:

As a Telemetry Technician, you will Provides physicians and nurses with data for use in the diagnosis and the planning of interventions related to cardiac conditions

Qualifications:

Required:

High School GraduateCompletion of dysrhythmia courseEnrolled in an Accredited Nursing program helpfulREQUIREMENTS12 Lead ECG competencyPrevious clinical/patient care experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Essential Functions:

Conducts cardiac monitoring on adolescent to geriatric patients, including application of monitors, rhythm interpretation, and performance of 12 lead EKGParticipates in hospital quality improvement activitiesUses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to determine each patient's age-specific needs and provide age specific treatment
