This position includes operating telephone control board and paging system, dispatching incoming calls, and paging internal and on-call clinical staff during and after regular business hours.
Major Responsibilities:
Answers phones and routes incoming calls to appropriate offices or personnel; Dispatch emergency Code calls to clinical personnel.Processes paperwork in an efficient manner according to set procedures. This includes proper filing and distribution of clinical on-call schedules and wireless devices.Complies with established departmental policies, procedures and objectives.Attends variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed.Demonstrates use of Quality Improvement in daily operations..

Medical Terminology certified or equivalent experience.Experience/Skills:

Must have knowledge and experience with MS Office products (specifically EXCEL).Must have accurate keyboarding skills.Good verbal and written communication skills to include proper vocabulary, spelling, grammar and sentence structure.Good customer service skills.Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.Preferred:
