We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Remote Telephone Triage Nurse to join our team. As a telephone triage nurse, you will provide expert nursing guidance, support, and medical advice over the phone to patients in Washington State.
This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while making a direct impact on patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality care in a telehealth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct telephone triage assessments, including taking detailed patient history and symptoms.Provide evidence-based medical advice to patients and families, including recommendations for self-care or seeking in-person care when necessary.Utilize clinical judgment to identify urgent medical conditions and assist in making decisions regarding care or emergency interventions.Document patient interactions in an accurate, timely manner in compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.Provide education to patients regarding common conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to ensure continuity of care for patients.Stay current with medical guidelines, best practices, and telehealth technologies to provide the highest level of patient care.Adhere to HIPAA and other confidentiality standards, maintaining patient privacy at all times.Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (preferably in areas such as emergency care, urgent care, or pediatrics).Telephone triage experience preferred but not required; we offer training for the right candidate.Strong knowledge of nursing protocols, medical terminology, and the ability to provide clear and concise advice.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to remain calm and empathetic while providing support to patients during stressful situations.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
