Temporary Accounting Clerk Pay Rate: $20 an hourLocation: Houston, TX 77006Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm A non-profit organization is seeking a temporary Accounting Clerk to join their team. With your strong confidentiality and communication skills, you will profoundly impact the organization by maintaining records and tracking voucher requests. Submit your resume today! Responsibilities:Verify the accuracy of receipts, invoices, and other documents or records for checks request.Create vouchers for direct assistance and reimbursement check requests.Submit vouchers and supporting documents to account payable (A/P) department.Gather checks from A/P, verify their accuracy, and enter check information into M drive data system.Collect vouchers from, review, make copies, and submit them to USCCB online.Compile data, prepare a variety of reports, and reconcile. List Qualification or Requirements:High School Diploma or GED.One year experience as an accounting clerk or bookkeeper.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.Proven accounting experience.
